Winters in Russia are really long and cold. During these frosty days I want to spend time in my cosy drawing-room admiring the views of the United Kingdom.

Ralph Dutton wrote in his book "The English Country House" that no nation had the love of country life more firmly implanted in its character than the English. 

I think you will agree with him after looking at these pictures. Enjoy them!
